Our review process
Chan Chan Pet’s review process: how we check sources and accuracy before publishing, how health content is handled, how updates are tracked, and how readers help with corrections.
Pre-publication checks
Before publishing, each piece goes through an accuracy check: objective data (lifespan, cost ranges, care points) is compared against sources, and editorial judgments (such as suitable scenarios) are checked against the published scoring method so conclusions stay consistent and explainable.
Handling health content
- Authoritative sources first
- Health and zoonosis content is aligned first with veterinary-association and public-health material.
- No diagnostic promises
- All health content points to consulting a vet and links our medical disclaimer。
- Careful with risk info
- Safety-related content aims to be accurate and non-misleading, erring on the cautious side.
Updates and versioning
Every page shows a last-updated date at the bottom. When sources change, data shifts or reader feedback is valid, we revise the content and update the date. Significant changes are reflected on the relevant page.
Readers help us correct
We treat reader feedback as part of the review process. If you find an error, outdated information or a better source, please use our contact page to tell us; we will verify and correct it. Full standards are in our editorial policy。
